Desert Tour with Taj

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at International Airport our company representative who would assist you to your hotel would welcome you. Free for leisure. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 2 : Delhi
After brekafst we take tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 3 : Delhi - Agra (210 Km)
After breakfast at hotel take an early morning drive to the city of Taj, Agra that was a powerful city of the medieval times. Enroute visit Sikandara the masoleum of emperor Akbar. Our representative would assist you to check in hotel. After a little refreshment, our tour guide takes you for a city sightseeing. The full day sightseeing starts with the visit of Taj Mahal. This is one of the most magnificent monuments built by the heartbroken Mughal emperor Shah Jahan after he lost his ever-faithful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This white marble monument is decorated with various semi-precious stones. This is the highlight of our tour. Then proceed for a visit to Agra fort. The visit to Agra fort is must since so many historical events took place here. In the evening you are free to visit some market complex of the city of Agra that are known for a variety of handicraft items. Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 4 : Agar - Jaipur (230 Km)
After breakfast departure towards "Pink City" ( Jaipur). En route visit the old city Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty 30 Km from Agar) visiting The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. It is now one of the World Heritage Sites in India. Jaipur - The Pink City derived its name from the name of its founder Maharaja Jai Singh. This well planned city is divided into nine rectangular sectors that represent the nine division of the universe. The maharajas are no more, but the forts and palaces that they left behind are of course present to remind of their stories of valour and gallantry. Evening arrival at Jaipur. Our representative accompanies you to the hotel. After leisure we proceed to Chokhi Dhani a 5* ethinic village resort for traditional Rajasthani Dinner. Overnight stay at Jaipurl.

Day 5 : Jaipur
After breakfast our travel guide accompanies you on a visit to some popular tourist places of the city. Visit the majestic Amber Fort in outskirt of Jaipur. We take a elephant ride to the fort. Then proceed to the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal and the observatory. Evening we take a rickshaw ride in old walled city of Jaipur.Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 6 : Jaipur - Ajmer
After breakfast drive to Ajmer. On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit to Dargah of Khwaja Mainuddin Chishti, Pushkar Lake and Temples at Pushkar. Overnight stay at Ajmer.

Day 7 : Ajmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur enroute visiting Ranakpur temples. Evening after check in visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Mandore garden and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day 8 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer enroute visiting the largest Hindu and Jain temples group at Osian On arrival to Jaisalmer check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaiselmer.

Day 9 : Jaisalmer
After breakfast at hotel. Free to explore the Desert Festival of Jaisalmer. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 10 : Jaisalmer
After breakfast at hotel. Free to explore the Desert Festival of Jaisalmer. Overnight stay at Jaislemer.

Day 11 : Jaisalmer - Khimsar
After breakfast drive to Khimsar.On arrival check into the hotel and visit Khimsar Fort. Overnight stay at Khimsar.

Day 12 : Khimsar - Bikaner
After breakfast drive to Bikaner.Visit Junagarh Fort, Camel Breeding farm and Palaces.Overnight stay at Bikaner.

Day 13 : Bikaner - Shekhawati
After breakfast drive to Shekhrawati and on arrival to Shekhrawati check into the hotel. Afternoon visit beautiful frescoes and havelies. Overnight stay at Shekhawati.

Day 14 : Shekhawati - Delhi Leave
Breakfast in the hotel drive to Delhi. We ensure timely transfer to New Delhi International airport to board back home flight.
